I believe your organization is providing a valuable service to cancer patients, primary care doctors and radiation oncologists and radiologists seeking abstracts on the various types of cancer. The abstracts provide updated information which can easily be understood by cancer patients.

I am particularly impressed with the support program you have initiated.

You have clearly stated the program does not provide a cure for cancer. However, as a practicing oncologist for years and as a partner in the New Hope Cancer Center, I can tell you that the greatest weapon for fighting this disease is the will to survive and live, and the support the patient gets in their time of need.

Linking cancer survivors with patients diagnosed with the same disease can be valuable to the medical caregiver.

I will certainly recommend to my patients that they visit your Web site to find a survivor who can inspire them and allay some of their emotions such as fear, anger and bewilderment they experience at the time they are advised of their diagnosis.

Families of cancer survivors can certainly advise families of newly diagnosed patients as to the methods of coping with this traumatic situation.

Your Children's Cancer Club will be extremely helpful by linking your patients with other children who have survived the disease.

The Cancer Group Institute deserves a lot of credit for their innovative and compassionate club membership approach. You deserve all the accolades that are sure to come your way from the medical profession.
